Best of 2016 | Louisiana Wedding Photographer

The year of growth.

As I went through photos we took this year, I found myself smiling from ear to ear.  I had this overwhelming feeling of joy and thankfulness.  I am absolutely grateful for all of the amazing opportunities that we have had this year.  I truly feel  we grew the most the last few months of the year.  I finally felt a consistency of our work.  You will probably notice a slight change throughout this post.  It was super hard for me to post images that don’t quite match our editing style today, but that shows growth.  We cherish real, intimate, not posed moments.  Those are the couples we want/are booking for this upcoming year and years to come.  We will capture YOUR story, not someone else’s you found on Pinterest.  We have a relationship with all of our couples.  We will play music during your session to keep you as relaxed as possible.

I am truly proud at where our business is.  Here are a few business goals for 2017:

Book 15 weddings (5 officially booked so far)

Take more time on different shots

Experiment more

More variety of shots within a session

Not overbook myself

book less Sundays

Blog more consistently

Book a destination wedding (out of the country)

Travel more

Go to a workshop or book one for 2018

And of course… continue to create art

Don’t forget to press the play button to hear some tunes

Have a safe and Happy New Year everybody!!
